Exodus-Image of the Rapture
Most Christians have come to believe that in the Bible, Egypt represents the world and that Israel represents the heavenly kingdom. We can then also say that as Jews were the believers in the Old Testament, the Christians are in the New. With this in mind, we can then allude that time spent in Egypt by the Jews could also be an image of the Christian's time on earth during the Church age. If we agree to this comparison, we can then conclude that the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt can also be a prophetic image of the Rapture.
